POW just dropped a couple new prints by Mudwig. Little Red Riding’s Hood and Vogue Face are two eccentric prints that blend old advertising imagery with some fresh Mudwig remixing. Both are a bit twisted, but both are guranteed to stir up conversation. Details are below!
The thrill of seeing a Mudwig-subverted billboard in real life is hard to beat, but with this technique we might be getting halfway close. Basically Mister Mudwig finds an old magazine advert, gets it scanned and printed in the proper lithographic style, then we screen print his awkward, spindly poetry over the top. The result? Maximum dark visual entertainment that is genuinely, actually, kind of ‘new’.
