On July 3rd, Ian Millard will be opening his new exhibit at My Addiction Gallery in Tucson AZ titled New Findings: Original Art by Ian K. Millard. Not only will originals be showcased, but an original print will be available as well. If you are in the Tucson area in July, than this is the place to be.

“new findings” is an exhibition showcasing the work of denver artist ian k. millard. after a visit to a museum featuring a dinosaur exhibit, millard became inspired to incorporate the ancient skeletons into his prints. the works were created using his technique of multiple intricate hand cut stencils and spray paint layered on top of each other to create images on wooden boxes.“new findings” is the artist’s latest body of original designs which explore the concept of a modern archeological dig, juxtaposing the bones of prehistoric jurassic creatures with bling, or other accessories associated with the modern hip-hop culture that helped popularize methods used in printmaking as a form of street art.
