Greg Gossel Test Prints At Burlesque Design

Burlesque Design is releasing some pretty killer Greg Gossel test prints on it’s website on Thursday, August 11th, at 2:00pm Central time. These test prints are 19×25 inches, and $50 includes the print + shipping to the US, while $55 covers the print + shipping international.

As we were creating Greg Gossel’s “Burden For Life” and “He Said He Loved Me” art prints, we couldn’t help but make a nice little stack of test prints. Not only is it a vital part of the printing process, but damn if they just don’t look great. We pulled a few aside to release to the world, and here they are – Greg’s art print layers mixed and matched with all sorts of different poster layers from our recent print history.

We will be selecting and sending these out randomly, mystery tube style. Will you get Gossel x Wes Winship? Gossel x John Baizley? Gossel x Mike Davis? You won’t know until your order shows up at your doorstep. Roll the dice!

Burden For Life and He Said He Loved Me by Greg Gossel

Greg Gossel has two new prints being released through Burlesque Design on Thursday, May 26, at 2:00pm Central time. The prints are titled Burden For Life and He Said He Loved Me. These prints are each 19×25 inches, and the price is $45 which includes shipping in the US or $50 international.

Around this time last year, we closed up our First Amendment gallery with an exhibit and print release from Minneapolis artist Greg Gossel. We love Greg’s brightly-colored collages made from repurposed snippets of pop culture. It turns out you guys love his work as well since his last two prints, “Crash Landing” and “Midnight” both sold out fairly quickly. Here are two brand new art prints designed by Greg and screenprinted by Ben LaFond, available exclusively through Burlesque!

Flatstock Print By Mike Davis and Wes Winship

Flatstock is near and so is the release of this killer poster by Mike Davis and Wes Winship. This Flatstock Print will drop on June 3rd at 2pm CST. Reach out and grab this if it tickles your fancy.

FLATSTOCK PRINT
Flatstock might just be the best event organized for / by / and of screenprinted poster artists. Held several times each year, Flatstock brings together dozens of print artists setting up booths to sell their rock show posters, art prints, t-shirts, and other creative goods to music and art fans wandering through.

Now that Flatstock has seen its 20th get-together, the folks behind the event have released a book entitled “Rock Paper Show” about the event and its artists. Several poster artists were asked to design prints to accompany the book. Wes Winship and Mike Davis put this one together and it’s just reaching out for you to pick it up.

Greg Gossel has two new prints available at Burlesque Design. Crash Landing and Midnight are sure to please lovers of Lichtenstein and Faile. It’s impressive blend of comic book elements, typography and use of multiple layers creates these two screenprints that are sure to pop when displayed on any wall. This print edition of 100 guarantees you that no 2 prints are alike, as the stack of paper this was printed on was bleached, splattered, spraypainted and ran on different colorways. Here is the brand new set of art prints we produced for artist Deuce Seven. For our fourth print with the elusive train bandit artist, we set out to get extra crazy, so we bleached, splattered, and spraypainted a big stack of paper in various colors, then ran Deuce’s spider wizard fantasty linework on top in an array of metallic inks. Absolutely no two are alike. You will be able to choose your paper color.

John Baizley is releasing the Green Version of the Baroness Blue Record on Thursday April 1st at Burlesque Design. How a blue album design can have a green version is beyond me, but the result looks cool. This diptych is a signed and numbered edition of 290 and the set will run $60 (with matching numbers).
