Shepard Fairey is releasing a new print to benefit the CityKids Foundation. She’s Not a Planet, She’s One of Us is being released by Wooster Street Social Club and The CityKids Foundation on Saturday, July 9th at 3pm at the Wooster Street Social Club, located at 43 Wooster Street, New York. This will not be available for online purchase, so read below for more details. The print is a signed limited edition of 450 with proceeds going to benefit the CityKids Foundation.

Wooster Street Social Club and The CityKids Foundation will release “She’s Not A Planet, She is One of “Us”a print by Shepard Fairey on Saturday, July 9th at 3pm at the Wooster Street Social Club, located at 43 Wooster Street, New York.

This print pays homage to one of the twelve panels created for the “A Positive Thought Cannot Be Denied” project, which was done in May of 2010, with Shepard Fairey and over 100 teens from CityKids. The collaboration resulted in twelve 8 x 4 foot panels that address issues in education, environmental sustainability, teen violence, and social justice.

These images are arguably some of Fairey’s strongest recent work and are a clear reflection of the inspiration that he found in the thoughts and opinions of these young adults.

“Art is one of the most powerful ways for young people to make their voices heard on issues affecting their lives,” said Fairey. “Working with such talented youths has been an honor and a revelation, and I’m proud to be part of a project that shines a much-deserved spotlight on these creative, outspoken and insightful kids.”

The release of this print will give people the opportunity to support an amazing foundation that provides intercity youth a safe recreational space for artistic, musical, and community-oriented pursuits.

The print is a signed limited edition of 450 with proceeds going to benefit the CityKids Foundation.
In addition to the print release, the twelve panels will be on display for a special viewing from July 6th – 18th, 2011.

Josh Keyes has a new print called Evacuation up for purchase at Tiny Showcase now. On March 22nd through March 29th, 2011, this print will be available for purchase for $30. This print is unsigned, is 8″x10″ and is $30. $10 of each print will go to Doctors Without Borders.

This unsigned edition will be available March 22nd through March 29th, 2011. It will no longer be available for purchase after that date. $10 dollars from each print sold will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.

The reverse side of each archival print has been hand-stamped with our authentication insignia and hand-numbered.

Prints ship with a corresponding numbered certificate of authenticity that has been hand-stamped with the edition’s date and initialed by the head of Tiny Showcase’s in-house print studio. The archival artwork has been printed on a 290gsm natural white printmaking paper.

This print measures exactly 8″ by 10″. There is a small border on all sides for framing and matting.

Artwork ships flat and packaged in an archival sleeve.
