FREEDOM is best known for painting in abandoned subway tunnels in New York during the 70′s & 80′s. Working amidst the homeless (” mole people”) living in the tunnels, FREEDOM painted for 16 years. In his honor, the tunnels were named after him and are now known as “The Freedom Tunnels”. FREEDOM recently
re-created work from the tunnels in the MoCA ”Art In The Streets” exhibition.

The release of two new Joe Ledbetter prints for his upcoming exhibition, “Magnus Maximus – A True Story of Wretched Victory” is almost here. Well, Corey Helford Gallery has finally released the preview list of all pieces that will make their debut at the Autumn’s Come Undone show. After seeing it all, my mind is officially blown. Not only has Shag created brilliant individual paintings, but he is also releasing a series of diptych and triptych giclees. These can be purchased as whole sets or individually as well, but the true strength lies in these 6 feet wide panoramic giclees. Just as a heads up: The prices for the giclee prints are starting at about $5,000 per print, while the paintings begin at $3,000.
