The artist’s graffiti-laden urban landscapes have received acclaim in the fine art world for over a decade, the RISD graduate has shown in some of North America’s most prestigious galleries including White Walls (San Francisco), Subliminal Projects (LA) and Yves Laroche (Montreal) to name a few.

The artist has been published multiple times in New American Paintings as well as Harper’s Magazine, and is the recipient of the Trent Burleson Painting Prize, the Faber Birren National Color Award and the Stamford Art Association Award for Excellence.

Serge Gay Jr: “Absolute Happiness”
Opening Night

A very big thank you to the hundreds of people who came by this past weekend to celebrate the opening of Serge Gay Jr’s solo show “Absolute Happiness.”

Attendees were greeted with a variety of murals, a room packed with stunning paintings, complimentary refreshments and a fundraising raffle for Hand in Hand for Haiti.

Joshua Budich and Chris Speakman have joined forces to create a diptych titled VS. #1. One of the greatest movie battles of all time includes Mothra against none other than Godzilla. This print set has captured the chaos that occurred during this battle, to a T. This set is limited to 100, and it will cost $60. Keep an eye on Joshua’s site on April 27th, as this will drop at a random time.

Well, Corey Helford Gallery has finally released the preview list of all pieces that will make their debut at the Autumn’s Come Undone show. After seeing it all, my mind is officially blown. Not only has Shag created brilliant individual paintings, but he is also releasing a series of diptych and triptych giclees. These can be purchased as whole sets or individually as well, but the true strength lies in these 6 feet wide panoramic giclees. Just as a heads up: The prices for the giclee prints are starting at about $5,000 per print, while the paintings begin at $3,000.
