Back in the 1970’s SEEN created a writing crew solely for the purpose of getting your name up on N.Y.City’s Subway Train System. The crew was titled U.A.(UNITED ARTISTS) also known as UA boys. While other crews at the time felt it was necessary to recruit large numbers, the UNITED ARTISTS kept their number of members small. There were a total of 5 members SEEN MAD PJAY DUSTER and SIN.

I’ve had a lot of interest in the sketches I’ve been showing through my blog/Facebook and on Instagram, so I thought the end of the year would be a good time to make some of the work from my 2011 (mostly Moleskine) sketchbooks available.

I’ve added 8 pieces to the store, each one demonstrates something of the process I go through when I’m working on new ideas so hopefully you’ll find them an interesting departure from a standard print release and also an affordable way to get hold of an original piece of Craww artwork!

Craww Solo Show + Originals Available

Craww is having a show opening George Thornton Art in Nottingham from the 5th – 15th November. Available now on the site is a preview of works shown, as well as links to purchase these originals. As always, Craww has some impressive pieces on display. Adding some Craww to your collection wouldn’t be a bad thing.

The show runs 5th – 15th November and as well as some new paintings on paper, it will feature a lot of the work I’ve done on different media over the past year. Some on found wood, cupboard doors and a couple of the old cutlery drawers. For the first time, I’ll also be making available some sketches I’ve been doing which should be a great way to get hold of some original one-off Craww work at an affordable price!

Toy Art Gallery is proud to present “Pop Fiction” by Francesco Molfetta. Francesco’s sculpture is meticulous and calculating, blending together familiar pop cultural icons and important political and historical figures to create an amalgam of childishness and controversy. Free of spite or bile and filled with appropriations of beloved things from youth, Francesco intertwines hope and happiness with critique and irony.

“Pop Fiction” starts Friday, Oct. 14th, 2011 and runs through Nov. 4th. There will be an opening reception from 7-11 PM on Oct. 14th at Toy Art Gallery’s new showroom located at 7571 Melrose Ave. Hollywood CA 90046.
