I’ve been really really diggin’ Them Crooked Vultures and who isn’t?  If you’ve been living in a cave and you don’t know already, Them Crooked Vultures is a supergroup made up of Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, John Paul Jones and Alain Johannes (as a live rhythm guitarist). Apparently I’m not the only one really liking this band, as Emek created the show poster for their October 15th gig at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. This Thursday, you can pick up this print at Emek’s site. This will sell out in a matter of seconds, so best of luck trying to score this!

Them Crooked Vultures is a rock & roll Supergroup that formed in Los Angeles, California in 2009. Comprising drummer Dave Grohl (from Nirvana, Foo Fighters), vocalist and guitarist Josh Homme (from Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss) and bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones (from Led Zeppelin).

The band’s self-titled debut album is due for release next month. But this poster, for a special limited engagement show they did in New York City, will be available this Thursday at 12 noon Pacific Time.

The poster is silkscreened, 28″ x 22″ and depicts an old British motorcycle/vulture, I chose a Triumph engine because its british (Zep) and because lead singer Josh Homme likes Falcon Motorcycle company- they make cool British style bikes: http://www.falconmotorcycles.com/
