We are delighted to present a new special limited edition print to celebrate the inauguration of these sporting times. Using the much loved ‘Penguin’ book cover as a starting point, writer and artist Harland Miller creates satirical commentaries on everyday life, pointing to the humour and prose found in both language and painting. ‘Too Cool to Lose’, Miller’s newest lyrical quip, takes on the idea of humour in competition. Miller’s cheeky title is painted on a gold background, hinting at another layer of absurdity in the idea of winning and losing. This screen print re-emphasises the relationship of the book cover to the graphic process of printmaking, while still showing the painterly qualities inherent in his original artwork.
