Year Of The Dragon
12 x 20 Inch Archival Pigment Print on 330gsm Fine Art Paper
$65 unframed or $164 framed at 1XRun“The Year of The Dragon was created in September of 2011 for the ‘Young & Free’ exhibition of Australian street artists at ’941 Geary’ Gallery in San Francisco. It was inspired by my travels in Asia, more specifically Japan & Hong Kong and represents my recent explorations of warriors, demons and mythology. It’s a large scale work, approximately 1.2 x 2.4 metres in size and combines several elements I’m exploring right now such as masks, demons, warriors and the female form. The large vertical symmetrical format is something i don’t paint often as this piece was specifically created as a centerpiece for my section in the exhibition. I would say this piece took 1-2 weeks to complete.” – Meggs
The framing option for this RUN includes a .75″ Black Frame with UV glass, archival foamcore backing and ready to hang hardware.
